Cyclones Football CIC was founded in 2023 with a clear purpose: to drive meaningful change across communities. We harness the power of football as the catalyst for transformation, coupled with tailored mentoring and support to empower individuals.

Our work is rooted in a commitment to preventing exploitation before it starts, by providing structured pathways for vulnerable people and offering positive alternatives to gangs, crime, and harmful behaviours.

Cyclones Football

Our Vision

Our mission is simple: to stop exploitation before it starts. We focus on providing young people with the structure, support, and opportunities they need to stay on a positive path. We understand that exploitation begins when young people lose connection with support systems—whether it’s school exclusion, mental health struggles, lack of qualifications, or involvement in the youth justice system. Our goal is to intervene early to prevent these risks from turning into exploitation.

Our Approach to Prevention

We recognize that every young person is different, and as such, we offer a range of services designed to meet their unique needs. Through structured, meaningful alternatives, we ensure that young people are engaged, protected, and empowered.

At Cyclones Football CIC, we are dedicated to empowering vulnerable individuals and communities by creating bespoke programs tailored to support those at risk. Our approach uses football as both an engagement tool and a catalyst for positive change.

By integrating mentoring and lived experience, we deliver powerful interventions that help steer individuals away from exploitation and harmful behaviours.

Our process begins with a comprehensive initial assessment, ensuring that each program is customised to the unique needs of every participant.

Our programs are designed to prevent exploitation and provide vulnerable individuals with the tools they need to succeed, both in and out of school. By combining football with life-changing mentoring and educational opportunities, we aim to engage, inspire, and equip young people for a positive future.

We provide tailored PPA packages for schools to support physical engagement and learning. Our packages ensure that students receive structured physical activity through football, promoting well-being and providing an outlet for personal growth.

1-1 Mentoring

Our 1-1 mentoring programs provide tailored support within schools for individuals who are struggling in mainstream educational settings. Much like a Teaching Assistant (TA) service, we work closely with students to offer additional academic and emotional support, helping them stay engaged and succeed in their learning environment. Through football-based engagement and personalized mentoring, we address individual challenges, foster self-confidence, and help students reintegrate into mainstream school settings. Our mentors, with lived experience, work to build trust and provide the support necessary for each student to thrive.

School Holiday Clubs
During school holidays, we deliver engaging football programs, providing a positive and productive space for young people. These programs keep children and teens occupied while providing support, mentoring, and physical activity. Dates, times, and costs can be found on our website.

NEET Support
We understand the challenges faced by young people at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training). Our programs offer a pathway for individuals or groups to reconnect with education and employment. We offer bespoke mentoring and football engagement programs tailored to the needs and interests of each young person.

Our after-school football clubs provide structured, positive activities for children and teens, creating a safe space to engage in physical activity while also receiving mentoring and support.

At Cyclones Football CIC, we understand that every individual benefits from personalized support. That’s why we offer specially designed sessions to help players develop their skills and reach their potential, regardless of their starting point. Our sessions are structured to provide growth at every level, from beginners to advanced players.

1-1 Development Sessions
We offer tailor-made 1-1 sessions for individuals who want to focus on specific areas of their football development. Whether it’s improving fitness, refining technical skills, or advancing tactical understanding, our expert coaches are here to help players of all levels (low, mid, high, and advanced) take their game to the next level.

Telford Cyclones Junior Football Club
Through our strong ties with a local grassroots football club, we provide opportunities for children aged 3-17 to begin their football journey. With access to our dedicated pathways, we aim to nurture young talent and support their growth within the club, ensuring they have a positive and progressive experience in grassroots football.

To support individuals who want to develop areas of there football abilities we deliver tailor made 1-1 sessions we can support in fitness and help low/mid/high/advanced level players continue there development
